Delaware River Report / Conditions April 1, 2020

Right now we are taking the advice of both NYS and PA and suggesting everyone stay close to home and fish local.

This is certainly not the start of the season we imagined a couple of months ago.  We are following the State’s order are are closed right now.  We are still fulfilling mail orders in the online store:  https://drc-fly-shop.myshopify.com/  Our flies are stocked and we will be adding new products over the next couple of weeks.  Hopefully this all passes soon.

The rivers and reservoirs are in great shape this Spring.  It may not feel like it but it’s still early.  There are some stoneflies and olives around but not much happening that could be considered consistent dry fly action.  If you tie flies check out Pig Farm Ink’s digital Iron Flies over the next couple of weeks:  http://www.moldychum.com/digital-iron-fly/
