Delaware River Report / Conditions August 2, 2018

We had a few showers during the day and again overnight.  The West Branch flow increased slightly to 726 cfs.  Stilesville is still flat at 582 cfs.  The East Branch at Harvard flow increased slightly to 284 cfs.  The rivers you would fish trout on today came through the rain just fine.  Sulphurs, olives, and isonychias are still the go to mayflies.  There is some fog on the river this morning but the sun is already burning through.  There is some decent cloud cover already that should stick around all day.  We should see some light showers today and then some isolated storms overnight.  Winds 5 -10 mph with and air temp around 77 degrees.

Despite the higher flows there are still temperature issues on the lower East Branch, Beaverkill, and Mainstem.   Stick to the West Branch or the upper East Branch for trout.
