The overnight thunderstorms missed us. The runoff from last weeks rain is slowing down and the release from Cannonsville is still 530 cfs. Today should be cloudy, 79 degrees, with wind around 8 mph. Wundeground doesn’t have any rain accumulation in today’s forecast. The mid day sulphurs are still hatching on the upper West Branch. There were olives and some isonychias mixed in but most of the fish we watched eat wanted the sulphurs. The bugs came in waves throughout the afternoon and were thick at times. The hatching seemed to slow down in the evening as the air temperature dropped. We have some rain in the forecast for the rest of the week but that seems to be changing every few hours.
