Delaware River Report / Conditions July 7, 2015

We woke up this morning to light rain and overcast skies, not exactly the weather forecast we had from Accuweather.  It sounds like we should have this type of weather for the next few days. Warm air temps, light scattered showers, and the possibility of thunderstorms.  It should make for good fishing this week if they are correct.  It looks like Pepacton has dropped below 100% so we should see the East Branch come down over the next few days.  The Beaverkill is dropping also.  Both of those rivers are now wadeable.  Cannonsville is spilling 107 cfs this morning.  If the rain totals are negligible this week we should see the West Branch stop spilling and the release cut back.  Same story with olives, isonychias, and sulphurs depending on what section of river you are fishing.  The water temps are in great shape throughout the upper system this morning so there are a lot of choices for this time of year.
