Delaware River Report / Conditions June 14, 2017

According to the hotline the release from Cannonsville has been dropped to 624 cfs this morning.  It looks like the spill has stopped.  Wading is now an option on both branches and even sections of the Mainstem.  Nymphing should get better with the lower water conditions.  We are still fishing a mix of sulphurs, cahills, caddis, and blue winged olives.  We have seen a few cornutas around so hopefully that hatch intensifies over the weekend.  The thunderstorms missed us yesterday and we woke up to a sunny sky this morning.  We should see cooler air temperatures with highs around 80 degrees today.  Winds look low and shouldn’t be a problem.
