Delaware River Report / Conditions June 5, 2015

Yesterday was tough fishing despite the cool weather and cloud cover..  Some sections had decent hatches in the evening while other sections had a sparse collection of caddis, sulphurs, and cahills.  The sections that fished well had the same bugs, just better quantities.  Overall nymphing seemed to be the most productive method during the day.  Today we are looking at warmer air temps with highs reaching 78 degrees with a chance of some rain later in the afternoon.  The weather report is different on each channel so we’ll have to wait and see what happens.  Hopefully the rain hits us to help us get through the warmer weather and keep the reservoirs filled.
