Delaware River Report / Conditions September 27, 2018

We were hit with a little more rain than expected in the evening and the river flows jumped a bit overnight.  Most of the river flows are dropping again with the Mainstem at Lordville just cresting.  The rivers are up and off color so if you’re going to fish it looks like a streamer day.  We’ll have mostly cloudy skies today with a chance of thunderstorms tonight.  We’re hoping they slide around us.  Wading is not suggested right now so stay in a drift boat.  The rivers should drop quickly once we stop getting rain every other day.

Hatching:
Light Cahill – #14 – 16 – Steno spp.
Isonychia – #12-2xl – 12 – Isonychia bicolor
Olive Sulphur – #18 -20 – Heptagenia hebe
