Shad Fly Fishing On Delaware River

These silvery torpedoes provide top sport in May and June when they invade the Mainstem and East Branch Delaware. Ranging between three and six pounds, but sometimes stretching to 30 inches, these fish are receptive to jig-style flies and they are prone to jump when hooked.
