Fly Fishing On West Branch
Delaware River
Many anglers consider the West
Branch to be the best wild trout
stream east of the Rockies … and it
deserves that title. The West Branch
is loaded with wild brown and
rainbow trout and it offers numerous
challenging hatches to match. Some
of the river’s best pools and best
trout, including plenty of
18-inchers, rest within the Delaware
River Club’s two miles of private
water. Lodge guests can walk out
their doors and throw a line on the
river’s top water in a matter of
moments. For those who like to fish
from a boat, the West Branch’s even
flows provide great drift options.
