Delaware River Report / Conditions August 27, 2020

The release from Cannonsville has been increased this morning to 500 cfs.  We woke up to some light rain and according to Wunderground should end up with just over 1/4″ by the end of the day.  The rain looks intermittent on the hourly forecast but we should keep the clouds.  The ground is dry so it should soak up a lot of the precip.  There is a chance of some thunderstorms so keep an eye on the radar.  Wind will be 10 – 20 mph from the West.  Definitely have your olives handy today.  If the wind does come find a protected area.  The clouds and light rain so far make it look like a great fishing day.  We’d rather deal with the wind than another sunny day in the 90’s.  If the thunderstorms do hit and the flows change dramatically we will do mid day blog updates but check the gauge links below for the latest flow information.
