The high cold release from Cannonsville continues to keep the West Branch and Upper Mainstem in great shape. Lordville peaked at 61 degrees yesterday afternoon. We also continue to see sulphurs, isonychias, cahills, and lots of olives from #18 – 26. There are a some golden drakes still around- especially on the Mainstem. There have bee some trico sightings so if you’re on the water early carry a few spinner patterns in your box. Today looks like a good fishing day as we break out of the run of really hot weather and bright sun. Accuweather is calling for air temperatures in the low 80’s with a few scattered thunderstorms. Total precipitations should be just under a 1/4″. The low release from Pepacton has heated up the lower East Branch. Fishs Eddy is starting off at 70 degrees this morning and peaked around 75 yesterday afternoon. Stick to the Upper East, the entire West Branch, and the Upper Mainstem down to Lordville. If you venture below Lordville double check the water temperature with your thermometer.
