Delaware River Report / Conditions May 18, 2020

Yesterday turned out to be a pleasant one on the water.  There was some wind but no where near as much as we’ve been dealing with most of the Spring.  Today looks similar to yesterday with the air temp in the high 60’s, cloud cover, and wind 5 – 10 mph from the East.  Hendricksons, blue quills, and caddis will make up most of the menu.  Definitely carry your spinner patterns.  There are some march browns hatching on some sections so add those to your box.  The release from Cannonsville is 1,499 cfs.

We are now allowed to guide one client at a time in Pennsylvania.  If you would like a solo guided trip or guided trip with an immediate family member from the same household, send us an email at flyfish@thedelawareriverclub.com or call 570-635-5880 and we’ll try to fit you in.  Our lodging is now open.

We are following the State’s order and the shop is still closed to walk in business.  It sounds like we will be able to let in a limited number of customers at a time beginning Friday May 22nd. We are still fulfilling mail orders in the online store:  https://drc-fly-shop.myshopify.com

Curbside pickup is now a shipping option in the online store.
