Delaware River Report / Conditions May 21, 2020

Yesterday sounded like a caddis day.  There were some mayflies out there but we’re hearing most of the fish were landed on caddis.  Better cloud cover certainly would have helped the mayflies but overall it sounded like a decent day.  It was certainly a beautiful day on the water.  Today will be even nicer with a high of 73 degrees and wind 5 – 10 mph from the South.  It will be sunny again.  There will be a few clouds coming in tomorrow.  The release from Cannonsville has been dropped and the flow at Stilesville is 661 cfs this morning.

Our lodging is now open.  Our fly shop will open to walk in business Friday morning at 8 am.  It will be limited to two customers at a time and masks are required.  We will wipe down the shop before the next customers come inside.  We are following CDC cleaning guidelines for both the rooms and the shop.  We are still fulfilling mail orders in the online store:  https://drc-fly-shop.myshopify.com

Curbside pickup is still a shipping option in the online store if you would rather not come inside.

We are now allowed to guide one client at a time in Pennsylvania, two anglers in NYS. If you would like guided trip send us an email at flyfish@thedelawareriverclub.com or call 570-635-5880 and we’ll try to fit you in.
