Delaware River Report / Conditions October 18, 2018

The sun popped out for a bit yesterday and felt good with the lower air temp.  The wind was off and on but wasn’t too bad for most of the day.  The river flows are still dropping slowly as the feeder streams continue to drop.  We are still finding olives, caddis, and a few isos in the longer pools.  Otherwise streamer fishing has worked well on the West Branch.  Today is going to be cooler with sunshine.  We’ll warm back up a bit tomorrow and have a slight chance of rain on Saturday.

Keep in mind the Upper West Branch from Cannonsville Dam to Monument is closed.  The East Branch from Pepacton Dam to Shinopple Bride is also closed.
