Delaware River Report / Conditions September 28, 2018

We have some light rain this morning that should end in the next hour.  The flow at Hale Eddy is similar to yesterday morning at 3,530 cfs.  The clouds should stick around all day.  It looks like another streamer day with a long shot at dry flies in the long pools and eddys.  Streamers are definitely your best bet so keep trying different colors, sizes, and sink rates until you find out what the fish are looking for.  There are no wading opportunities so stick to drift boats.  The is no rain in the forecast through the weekend so the rivers should begin to drop and get better each day.
