Delaware River Report / Conditions October 18, 2013

Hey! Some Rain! The witchdoctors actually made a 100% chance of rain prediction for last night, and lo and behold, they were right! Unfortunately, it means that NYC is turning off the spigot. We’re back down to a 300 cfs release today, not sure what that means for the fish, as we are expecting a bit more cloud cover and rain this morning, yielding its way to sunshine in the afternoon. What an aweso me fall……for all those non-fisher-folk. Yesterday was a pretty decent day on the river, with bugs and active, happy fish once we hit the afternoon hours, once the sun dropped down a bit. I also want to say thanks to all of you continuing to read, even though I have been demoted on the “fishing prediction scale” from Nostradamus to Miss Cleo. I am always looking for a bit more consistency, let’s hope the river gives it to us today!
