The rain missed us so besides a few drops we had decent cloud cover all day. The combination of cool nights and daytime cloud cover has really helped the water temperatues too. The Mainstem at Lordville is starting off at a nice 57 degrees this morning. Today will be clear but we will keep the cooler temperatures. Tomorrow is our best shot of any precipitation but if it happns it will be light. We’re still fishing a lot of small olives mixed with sulphurs, cahill / stenos, golden drakes, yellow drakes, and isonychias. We’re also seeing a few more caddis flying around in the afternoons. If you are looking for Tricos don’t get off the river too early. On colder mornings the spinners take longer before they fall. We’ve seen them as last as lunchtime.
