Yesterday was a pleasant one on the water. We had a bit of rain and the wind was bad when the front came in but that didn’t last too long. We should have sunshine today with a high of 44 degrees. The wind will be 10 – 15 mph from the North. For dry fly fishing concentrate on the lower East Branch or Mainstem. The West Branch is still coming out of Cannonsville off color and looks good for streamers this morning. There are enough leaves left on the trees that it’s possible to get out of the wind. The best wade options are the Willowemoc and Beaverkill.
Keep in mind the Upper West Branch from Cannonsville Dam to Monument is closed. The East Branch from Pepacton Dam to Shinopple Bridge is also closed.
