The release from Cannonsville has been stepped down slightly to 1298 cfs. Keep an eye on the Stilesville gauge this afternoon in case they step the release down again. Most of the rain missed us last night so the river flows dropped slightly across the board. There are a few wade opportunities on the WB and Main but the better wade opportunities will be on the Beaverkill, Willowemoc, and Upper East Branch. The West and Main are in great shape for floating. We should see .12″ of rain today but otherwise we’re looking at a cloudy sky, air temp in the high 70’s, and wind 5 – 10 mph from the North. Sulphurs, cahills, isonychias, and caddis will make up most of the hatching but people are still finding some pockets of green drakes. Definitely have your spinner box close by as the sun drops.
