The release from Cannonsville has been increase to 801 cfs. Probably a temperature bump because the Mainstem at Lordville hit 69 degrees yesterday. Today will be cooler with the air temp only hitting 73 degrees. We’ll have sunshine with wind 5 – 10 mph from the North. That’s actually better than yesterday when the wind mad fishing tough mid afternoon. A few storms threatened us but the precipitation was non existent here – just the wind. We’re still mostly fishing small olives, isonychias, and cahills. Some caddis are around but we’ve also been finding a lot of yellow sally stoneflies. Tricos have been spotty but they are still around. If you don’t find fish on them by mid morning move around to different river sections. They can also fall later than expected on cold mornings.
