It’s okay to fish locally. It’s not okay to travel long distances to fish. So stay local for now.
We are following the State’s order and are closed right now. We are still fulfilling mail orders in the online store: https://drc-fly-shop.myshopify.com/ Our flies are stocked and we will be adding new products over the next few weeks. Hopefully this all passes soon.
Let’s keep this going. Since everyone should be fishing local to their homes send us pictures of your locally caught fish and we’ll put them here on the blog. Even chubs would be cool. Email them to flyfish@thedelawareriverclub.com
Today’s selection of fish:
The release from Cannonsville has been increased to 1,064 cfs. That’s an interesting number. A lot of people would have added one more cfs to round it to 1,065 cfs. Not NYC DEP. The flows on the East Branch also bumped up a bit so check the gauges for the latest flows if you’re up there. Today will be warm again with the air temp reaching the high 50’s. We’ll see a good mix of clouds and sun with 10 – 15 mph wind from the North. We’ll see some cold weather moving in over the weekend but we should warm back up next week.
