Delaware River Report / Conditions April 25, 2020

We are following the State’s order and are closed right now.  We are still fulfilling mail orders in the online store:  https://drc-fly-shop.myshopify.com/

Let’s keep the local pictures going.  Since everyone should be fishing local to their homes send us pictures of your locally caught fish and we’ll put them here on the blog.  Even chubs would be cool.  Email them to flyfish@thedelawareriverclub.com

Most of the rivers had a small bump in flow yesterday but they are dropping back this morning.  We didn’t make great gains in water temps since yesterday morning but most of the system is starting off a couple degrees warmer than yesterday. We should hit 60 degrees today with cloud cover and light and variable wind from the North.   It looks like the forecasted rain has been pushed off until tomorrow when we’ll see 1/2″.  Radar is showing a few storms passing through but most look like they are sliding down to the south of us.  If you are fishing anywhere near the Upper Delaware System bring all of your spring flies.  The cool weather tends to spread out the hatches over a longer time period so you get a lot of overlap.
