Delaware River Report / Conditions May 9, 2020

There is a light covering of snow on the ground this morning but not as much as we were expecting.  We may see some additional flurries this afternoon along with strong winds as this front pushes through.  We warm back up tomorrow.  Yesterday was much nicer than we expected up until the sleet in the late afternoon.  The wind was even kind to us until evening.  The rivers fished well in the light rain with good numbers of blue quills, hendricksons, and olives hatching.  It was a really good day to be on the water.

We are following the State’s order and are closed right now.  We are still fulfilling mail orders in the online store:  https://drc-fly-shop.myshopify.com

Curbside pickup is now a shipping option in the online store

Let’s keep the local pictures going.  Since everyone should be fishing local to their homes send us pictures of your locally caught fish and we’ll put them here on the blog.  Even chubs would be cool.  Email them to flyfish@thedelawareriverclub.com
