The report on the tailwaters won’t change until the releases change. The releases have been steady so the flows are dropping so slow you really can’t tell the difference. The West Branch has the normal fall tint but it doesn’t bother the fish. Nymphs and streamers early with some dry fly action in the afternoon. The best wading opportunities are on the Beaverkill and Willowemoc. The East and West Branches are both running high for decent wading. Yesterday we saw a mix of blue wing olives, Heptagenia, and a few Isonychias. The caddis are really active in some areas too. Today will be cool again with a high of 53 degrees, good cloud cover and light wind.
