Week Four’s fly is a CDC Early Black / Brown Stonefly. The light CDC underwing is great for visibility while the deer hair gives it some structure- especially on rainy days. Using the dubbing loop CDC instead of hackle creates great movement and still floats the fly high enough to skate it if necessary. Tied on a Tiemco 100 #16 hook. In the online store here.
