The wind will be 5 – 10 mph from the North today. We’ll see 66 degrees with a mix of sun and clouds. That’s the real story after yesterday’s 20 mph wind. The rivers fished during the lulls with caddis, small hendricksons, and a few march browns. The wind made nymphing a good option by default when it was blowing. The runoff has pretty much subsided on the Eastern side of the drainage and the Beaverkill flow has dropped back under 500 cfs. It’s time to have some sulphurs in your box just in case. They can’t be too far off.
