Delaware River Report: July 16, 2022

We’ve had another cool night which has kept the temperatures in a better range. The weather forecast is calling for clouds and slightly lower air temperatures today, though the sun is probably going to show up at some point. Mid-day sulphurs are still the main hatch, with some small olives mixed in. Keep some Isos handy for the riffles and look for nymphing spots lower on the West Branch.

The East Branch at Fishs Eddy, the Beaverkill at Cooks Falls, and the Mainstem at Lordville all peaked close to 70 degrees yesterday. It’s time to give these sections a break until we get cooler temps.
