Delaware River Report: September 6, 2022

It’s been raining for almost 24 hours giving us a much needed soaking. The West Branch at Stilesville above most of the feeders is relatively unaffected like normal with a flow of 383 cfs. The feeder streams are pumping quite a bit of water so the flow at Hale Eddy is 1,560 cfs and is off color. We’re going to see a little more rain today but it should be less than 1/4″. If you’re wading your only real option is above the feeders in Stilesville. Floating is fine at these flows as long as there is no debris in the water. People will be throwing streamers this afternoon.

Keep an eye on the radar and the latest flow information. And use good judgement.

The flow above most of the feeders in Stilesville is low like normal
