Delaware River Report: September 13, 2022

Late Morning Update: One of the feeders must have been hit with an isolated storm. The lower West is off color and Hale is now 728 cfs. Hopefully this is the end we’ll peak and begin to drop soon. Stilesville remains a steady 363 cfs.

We had some rain overnight that increased the river flows. Nothing crazy and it looks like the flows are starting to level out. Hale Eddy is just under 700 cfs. Some of the feeders are adding color to the river so keep that in mind. It’s not chocolate but it’s not clear either. If the rain stops it should look much better this afternoon. It looks perfect for streamers this morning. If you do see fish rise in the tailouts try small olives or Isonychias. We may see some thunderstorms this afternoon so keep an eye on the radar. We have decent cloud cover, wind 5 – 10 mph out of the West, and 71 degrees.
