Delaware River Report: October 10, 2022

The wind didn’t help yesterday but people did find some fish eating olives in the afternoon. There were also some Isonychias and Heptagenia mixed in but again small olives made up most of the hatch. The weather looks a little better today with cloud cover and wind 5 – 10 mph from the West. We’ll be warmer tan yesterday hitting 60 degrees. We may see a brief rain shower but total rainfall will be negligible. Given the weather if things stay the same we should see some olives by 2 pm.

What’s Hatching:
Slate Drake – 12- 14- Isonychia bicolor
Olive Sulphur – #16 – 20 – Heptagenia hebe

Tiny Blue Wing Olive – #22 – 26 – Pseudocloeon sp.
