Delaware River Report: April 25, 2023

The river flows have dropped a bit and there are wade opportunities on the West Branch (some spots), the Upper East Branch, and the Beaverkill. Just use common sense. We have a jumble of hatches on some river sections with apple caddis and just a couple of March Browns joining the Hendricksons, blue quills, and olives. Yesterday fished well later in the afternoon with just about everyone finding some rising fish to target. Streamers worked well in the morning. We’re coming off a cool night so like yesterday it will take a while for the water temps to climb. It should fish similarly.

Today will be 53 degrees with some sun. Wind will be 5 – 10 mph from the North. There is a very slight chance of a shower but the rainfall amount should be negligible. It sounds exactly like yesterday.
