Delaware River Report: May 8, 2024

We woke up to some rain showers but so far we haven’t seen any affect on the rivers. Most of the rivers are staring off a little lower than yesterday morning. The storms should clear out leaving us a cloudy afternoon. Wind will be an issue so pick your spots accordingly. If Wunderground is correct we should see the wind drop a little towards evening. Yesterday was all about caddis again. There were enough caddis on the water to keep it interesting with fish slashing in the riffles for quite a bit of the day. The mayflies came later mainly due to the bright sunshine.

Today will be 80 degrees with morning storms and afternoon clouds. Total rainfall today should be 01″. Wind will be 10 – 20 from the West.
