The weather seemed a bit unsettled early yesterday but the rain missed us and the clouds rolled in during the afternoon. There were early spinners and the caddis picked up. It’s a jumble of bugs with the last Hendricksons holding on the West Branch, March Browns, Gray Fox, and Sulphurs on the Main and lower East. Caddis are still strong everywhere when the conditions are right. The March Browns, Gray Fox, and sulphurs are moving up river and we should see more of them this week higher in the system. We are seeing a few now. Add cahills to the mix and there are a lot of different bugs and a lot happening out there. The timing shifts with the weather so be patient if you don’t see anything right away.
