Delaware River Report: May 20, 2024

Today will look a lot like yesterday but a bit warmer. Good bets early would be nymphing or swinging wets. No wind and sunshine may get the caddis active early so watch for occasional slashers in the riffles. The mayflies may be pushed later as the sun drops. It definitely looks good for spinners. We’re still seeing some March Browns and Gray Fox. The sulphurs are moving up river and hatching around dark. There are still decent tan caddis in the colder water sections. You’ll still find some apple caddis around too.

Today will be 83 degrees with a mix of sun and clouds. Wind will be light and variable.
