Delaware River Report: June 15, 2024

All of the storms slid South of us and we didn’t see any rain on the lower West Branch. We had more sun than expected with periods of cloud cover. Nymphing and wets were the best bets with some dry fly shots coming in the evening. We’re seeing tiny olives, light olives, Isonychias, sulphurs, and cahills. There are still some caddis in the morning s and evenings. We’ll have the sun again today with fewer clouds so it should fish similarly. The wind should drop in the evening which should be good for potential spinners.

Today will be 74 degrees and partly cloudy. Wind will be 10 – 15 mph from the North.

The Beaverkill at Cooks Falls, East Branch at Fishs Eddy, and Mainstem at Lordville all hit close to 69 degrees yesterday. Please check the water temp with a thermometer before fishing these sections.
