We had another day of cooler summer weather yesterday but a lot of sun. The clouds didn’t roll in until much later in the afternoon.
There were reports of midday sulphurs but the evening was much slower than previous days. Keep your summer box packed with sulphurs, cahills. Isos, and different sizes of olives. Make sure to have spinners in a few sizes as well.
Today is starting with some light showers with more rain possibly developing later. Wind will start low and pick up to 10 – 15 mph from the South this afternoon.
The Beaverkill at Cooks Falls, East Branch at Fishs Eddy, and Mainstem at Lordville water temps all peaked at 70 degrees or higher yesterday. It’s still time to give these rivers a break.
