We’re back on a warming trend with sun. The West Branch temps remain steady. The Beaverkill, East Branch and Mainstem are still okay but all are starting off two degrees warmer than yesterday morning. The sunshine will bump them up today. Nymphing is still the best bet early. The coldest water sections may see some dry fly activity a little earlier in the day. Once the sun drops we are seeing decent olives, a few sulphurs, and Isonychias. The Isos haven’t been heavy but the fish are looking for them in the evening. As it warms up this week we have a better shot at flying ants.
Today will be 80 degrees with sun and a few clouds. Wind will be light and variable.
