Yesterday’s rain soaked into the ground with no affect on the river flows. The cloud cover and rain was a nice change and there were fish on the olives and hebes. Today looks similar with clouds, less rain, and a bit higher air temp. The rain will be negligible. Nymphing or swinging wets should be the best bets early. There have been some fish eating on top in some of the slower pools before the sun really hits the water. The afternoon hatches have mostly been olives with a few hebes. There are some Isonychias and cahills around. The caddis should pick up as we push deeper into Fall.
