Delaware River Report: October 10, 2024

Today is going to much cooler with the air temp peaking at 52 degrees. We’ll have sun poking through the clouds but it’s going to take a while to warm up. Nymphing or streamers are still the bet bets early in the day. The olives and hebes should hatch a little later in the afternoon. Some river sections are seeing better Isonychias and cahills so don’t hesitate to chance locations if you’re not seeing much in the afternoon.

Cannonsville is turning over so the West Branch has that green tint we get most Falls. It doesn’t bother the fish or the bugs.

Today will be 52 degrees with partly cloudy skies. Wind will be 10 – 15 mph from the North.
