Delaware River Report: October 11, 2024

We’ll be back in the 60’s today with less wind than yesterday. The fishing should be the same with nymphing or throwing streamers early being the best bets. The olives and hebes should hatch mid afternoon offering some dry fly fishing. We had some isonychias and cahills mixed in yesterday so we should see that again. The wind made the dry fly fishing tough yesterday but fish were landed.

Cannonsville is turning over so the West Branch has that green tint we get most Falls. It doesn’t bother the fish or the bugs.

Today will be 64 degrees with plentiful sunshine. Wind will be 5 – 10 mph from the North.
