Delaware River Report: April 12, 2025

There is some snow falling this morning but we are above freezing so it should turn to rain before too long. Nymphing and streamers are still the best bets but there were some fish rising in the slow foam lines on some river sections. It was mostly olives with some stoneflies and little black caddis mixed in. Despite the snow falling this morning we actually will warm up today and we’ll see even better temps over the next few days. That should bump the water temps and push the hatches.

Today will be 42 degrees with a mix of rain and snow in the morning turning to rain in the afternoon. Total precip should be .11″. Wind will be 10 – 15 mph from the North.
