Delaware River Report: June 25, 2025

Cannonsville is spilling 410 cfs. The release from Cannonsville is 1,003 cfs. It’s been a tough couple of days in the heat and bright sun. The water temp at Stilesville is dropping as the spill decreases. The west Branch and Upper East Branch have held on well during the heat wave. The Lower East, Beaverkill, Willowemoc, and Mainstem have all been too hot to fish. It looks like the heat wave ends tomorrow and we may see some rain again. We’re still seeing some sulphurs, cahills, and Isonychias. The change in weather over the next three to four days should push the bugs back to normal.

Today will be 89 degrees with a few clouds. Wind will be 5 – 10 mph from the North.
