Delaware River Report: June 27, 2025

Cannonsville is spilling 65 cfs. The release from Cannonsville is 801 cfs. The flows are still slowly dropping throughout the system and wading is an option on the West Branch and Upper East Branch. The cooler weather and clouds have helped the water temps but please check them with a thermometer before fishing the Beaverkill, Willowoemoc, Lower East Branch and the Mainstem today. The cloud cover has been a welcome change after the bright sun this past week. Nymphing or swinging wets will be the best bets early. The intensity of the hatches has been variable but patience should pay off. We should see sulphurs, cahills, and Isonychias in the late afternoon / evening. Streamers are still a good bet in low light times.

Today will be 69 degrees with cloudy skies. Wind will be 10 – 15 mph from the South.
