Delaware River Report: July 10, 2025

Some river sections have heavy fog this morning but that should burn off in the next hour or two. We’re looking at another normal July day so head to the coldest water for the midday Sulphur hatches. There should be some Isonychias, Cahills, and olives mixed in as well. The lower West will fish best with nymphs and wets. Blind casting Isonychias in the riffles would work for people who don’t want to nymph. We may some some sulphurs in the evening – especially if we et clouds and some stray rain showers.

The Beaverkill, Lower East Branch, and Mainstem water temps are all peaked in the mid to high 70’s yesterday. It’s time to give these rivers a break until they cool back down.

Today will be 85 degrees and partly cloudy. There is a chance of a stray shower or thunderstorm. Wind will be light and variable.
