Delaware River Report: July 11, 2025

The release from Cannonsville has been increased to 750 cfs. The West Branch is in great shape and the cloud cover is a bonus. The midday Sulphurs are on the upper river sections along with some olives, Cahills, and Isonychias. Nymphing should be good on the lower West today with the clouds. Blind casting Isonychias or Cahills in the riffles is an option all Summer. Yesterday’s thunderstorms and showers missed us.

The Beaverkill, Lower East Branch, and Mainstem water temps are all peaked in the mid to high 70’s yesterday. It’s time to give these rivers a break until they cool back down.

Today will be 86 degrees with considerable cloudiness. There is a chance of a stray shower or thunderstorm. Wind will be light and variable.
