We have clouds and fog to start off this morning. The forecast has been changing a lot but right now we may see some scattered afternoon thunderstorms. Total rainfall should be .17″ but we may see the wind pick up as they pass through. Despite the couds the best shot at hatches will be the afternoon sulphurs on the Upper West and Upper East. We may see some bugs on the lower West if we get the rain. The clouds should help the nymphing and blindcasting.
The Beaverkill, Lower East Branch, and Mainstem water temps are all peaked in the mid to high 70’s yesterday. It’s time to give these rivers a break until they cool back down.
Today will be 83 degrees with scattered afternoon thunderstorms. Rainfall should be .17″. Wind will be 5 – 10 mph from the South.
