The release from Cannonsville is 699 cfs this morning from the overnight pulse to cool down the Mainstem. That should taper back to 500 cfs later this morning. We’ll be warmer and sunny today once the fog burns off. The Upper West has had tiny olives with some Sulphurs midday. The lower West has had olives and some Isonychias and Cahills towards evening. We’ve seen small olive spinners in the evening so have a few options in your box for those last light fish.
The Beaverkill, Lower East Branch, and Mainstem water temps are still peaking in the mid to high 70’s. It’s time to give these rivers a break until they cool back down.
Today will be 87 degrees and sunny. Wind will be light and variable.
