Delaware River Report: September 14, 2025

The release from Cannonsville is 831 cfs. We’re still in decent shape for wading and floating but pick your wade spots a little more carefully. We had a few more clouds than expected yesterday afternoon. It turned out to be a good day on the water. There wasn’t a single answer but everything seemed to work at some point. Dries, nymphs wets, and streamers all brought fish to the net.

Today will be 78 degrees and sun and clouds mixed. Wind will be 5 – 10 mph from the North.

Sadly Ryan Geiges, a friend and former DRC guide, recently lost his battle with cancer. He will be missed by many – both off and on the water. There is a GoFundMe for Ryan’s family if you’d like to support them in this difficult time.
