Delaware River Report: September 30, 2025

The release from Cannonsville is 880 cfs. We’re having trouble with the flow gauges this morning but most rivers dropped a bit since yesterday and the West Branch flow is up about 80 cfs. The West Branch has the Fall tint to it from the Reservoir turning. It’s been helpful on the sunny days. We had more clouds than expected yesterday and bugs a little earlier than we’ve been seeing. It’s still mainly olives with some hebes, Isonychias, and Cahills mixed in. There have been spinners towards dark. Streamers and nymphs are both good options before the hatches.

Today will be 76 degrees with clouds and sun. Wind will be 5 – 10 mph from the North.
