Delaware River Report: October 9, 2025

The release from Cannonsville is 1,003 cfs. The rain really helped the rivers and everything is in good shape this morning. The West Branch continues to have the tint from the reservoir. It’s been a bonus for streamer fishing. We’re in a cold snap for a couple of days so water temps are great throughout the system too. Cahills, hebes, Isonychias, olives, and caddis are all hatching in some numbers. Streamers and nymphs will still be the best bets early.

Today will be 55 degrees with sunshine. Wind will be 5 – 10 mph from the North.
